On V-day I went all out. I was worried cause I'm a vicious eater (google it).
Burgers, fries, an entire cake, and ICE CREAM! It's been 3 weeks (maybe) of 'on track' eating. That splurge day was VERY rewarding. And no weight was put on.
My theory is this...
1lb of fat is how many calories? 3500 - 4000 cals?
I ate (approx) 6000 calories on V-day day.
I burned (approx) 2000 calories just being alive (was a very lazy day).
Minus the two and that leaves me with 4000 net calories on Vday.
Anyway, down to 205. My next splurge date is St. Patty day!
I Hope everyone can enjoy a good splurge day once in a while.

Good for you that you can splurge and return unscathed. For some of us, a one-day splurge turns into splurging for 6 months! Congrats on your great progress.

I agree with Trackin64. 6000 calories is 4 days of food for me.

I found overeating shows up 3-4 days later on the scale, sorry.

To all who took the time to respond, I appreciate you.
@trackin64 - Thank you!! What you say is so true. 4 weeks ago I finally won a fight with a 2 year binge. Vicious eating (google it, free book that changed my life), if you're into labels, is how I describe my eating. My experience with addition includes cigarettes, beer, meth (17 years clean), and sugar / refined carbs. None of those other addictions compared to the mental breakdown that I experienced while quitting sugar.
I felt great on my splurge day (in the morning)! Waking up knowing I could eat cake and not feel guilty. Not just eating it though...gorging on it.
Around 3pm I was so gorged all I could do breath and sink into the couch. Felt sick. Tired. SOOO full it hurt...yet my brain was telling me, screaming at me to eat more! Taste more. And I realized...how my brain was acting is proof...none of what I ate was food.
Companies that sell edible substances have spent billions scientifically designing their items to NOT trigger parts of our brains that signal FULLNESS, that tell us to STOP EATING. While also addicting us to sugar/flour.
Drugs slowly deteriorate you from the inside/out and they eventually control you. They become the driving force in your everyday decisions, yet the addict craves the drug. This is also true with sugar.
@Lakeontario - that maybe the case. Hope not!
@Draglist - thanks brother, it was an clarifying.

I just can't seem to find good food on the go, and Jack in the Box becomes my alternative, so I fast most the day, and then have dinner. Tonight it was a burger combo with fries and coke. lol
