I take a handful of vitamins every day and get a B-12 needle every 2 weeks. I'm sure there are lots of us out there, lol

I take calcium & D three times a day, magnesium once a day and fish oil twice a day. I eat healthy and don't need any other supplements because I get them in my foods! :D

Glad to hear I'm not alone...lol. @ Spellspirit, you'd be surprised at the lacking of nutrient in lots of foods that are supposed to contain them. It is poor soil & growing conditions, cooking & cooking methods, processing, amongst other things that cause the lacking. Also, some amino acids mentioned are supposed to be produced by our own body but aren't produced as they should be due to us getting older and have had damaged our cells over the years.

I take cinnamon, red yeast rice, fish oil, Vit D, tumeric, and a multi-vitamin. Was also taking CLA but ran out, might start it again.

I'm taking live bacteria to help with digestive problems, cod liver oil to prevent colds, biotin because my hair and nails suck, and occasionally iron because my levels tend to be low. Other than that I'm a firm believer in trying to eat nutrient dense foods (not that I would be good at that, but you know, gotta try)

I try to get my nutrients and minerals from foods, but being vegan I do take b-12 occasionally and calcium.

what you all should know about vitamins and minerals: you can devide these into two groups: fat-solvable and water-solvable. (eat iron with lots of vitamin C and water) (eat calcium with yoghurt and b12/omega fish oils) If you are eating yoghurt for the calcium, do NOT put fruit in there! calcium and vitaminC will both be rendered useless... have fun with the science of good supplement use!

I take many vitamins. Multi, b6, b12, biotin, cranberry, calcium, etc, not to mention prescriptions

As you mentioned the "fat loss miracle" supplements: http://consumerist.com/2015/11/17/feds-file-criminal-civil-cases-against-more-than-100-supplement-companies/

Nice report, Jules. Thanks for sharing! Agreed, puhpine! Thanks for brining that up! That's why I buy my supplements individually, not in a multivitamin. I only take a multivitamin when I've ran out of something, and temporally compensate with multivitamins that I've had before I learned about all of that.

Also, B12 is no good without folate and folate is no good without B12.

I do a multi-vitamin and CoQ10

I'm not a junkie, but do use supplements to "supplement" my natural intake of vitamins and minerals. I generally use food as my medicine and supplement to fill in the gaps. BTW, gaps are subjective to my own needs/wants.

I take D and Cranberry. Cranberry has been a wonder drug for urinary tract issues!
