dog147's Journal, 16 September 2015

well yesterday I didn't really do any exercise, they had the audacity to actually make me work, HOW DARE THEY, I had a lot of catching up to do from my week off, I did manage to walk 13000 steps though. Thought I had better make up for it so played tennis followed by 1,5 miles on treadmill, 2.5 miles on the bike light resistance but working at 100 rpm then back on treadmill for another 1.5 miles and finally 45 minutes of doubles badminton. Legs are now like jelly, tomorrow morning I have know doubt the will be like broom handles and unable to bend, soon find out when I walk down the stairs ha ha. I remember we had a squat challenge in work and it wasn't about how much weight you could squat it was with a light weight but you had to do as many as you could without stopping, the next morning I had to come down the stairs on my bum, I was it bits and I had to go to work, it took about 4 days for DOMS to leave me, I promised never again, but hey we do like a challenge ha ha and sometimes we do act daft. We have had a shaving challenge whereby you couldnt shave for 3 weeks, then we all put 5 pounds in the kitty, bought some disposable razors, you then had to have a dry shave and then whoever had the least amount of cuts and nicks won the kitty, we only ever did that one once we all agreed never again Sorry I forget I would like to thank all the man utd fans out there for not giving me any stick from the football game, trust me I took a lot from the guys who I worl with

hi heidij123 - trust me any shops would have been to far away for me, I don't do daft things like that every day. I normally have 1 stupid day an easy day and a moderate difficult day. I normally save my stupid day for the day before my day off that way I have a recovery day followed by a light day - if that makes sense

Yep it does! Makes perfect sense to plan a rest day after a stupid day 😀
