Well Well...

Day 2 of South Beach (and no diet coke!!!! aahhhhh).. Things are going pretty well. I've started drinking coffee (which i have always hated) due to the very sad fact that I just can't make it through my day without caffeine... :) Probably true of most toddler moms, or moms in general.
Anyway, getting back on the wagon in terms of running has been rough. It's funny how it takes weeks/months to become a conditioned runner and only a week or two to completely lose all the ground you've gained. I ran 2 miles yesterday and 4 today.. MAN it was a struggle... but, forward focus!, the race is in three weeks.
It's so good to be back on here regularly, and I am SO GLAD to see how well everyone is doing on the whole. It's encouraging to see all of you who never give up, even when the going gets BORING!!! I just love all my FS buddies.
You guys rock!!!

Great job getting back in the game. As you said, it takes a million years to get well conditioned, but only a short while to get totally unconditioned. Thats why I don't like to have even 2 days between running for me. Your doing great - Keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!

You're so right about losing your ground after you stop exercising for a short while. I agree with MomofTwoGirls. I hate taking more than a couple rest days off in a row because I know what it does to me! You look so great in your new picture by the way. You're such a hot momma! You've come a long way so far. Keep it up. Good luck with your new diet.

Heck yeah you need that caf, lol I so feel you about coffee and toddlers! Especially if you are running those lengths, lol I looooove coffee, and have been successful w/ dieting w/ it so far! Its a wiser choice over soda anyway. congrats, stay off that, and you do look amazing!

Hi, just came across your page! I have always been a fan of the SBD. It's a great lifestyle, not just a month crash dieting... Good luck!

Hey, good going on the running! I would like to eventually do that as well. It feels so empowering when you are doing it, doesn't it? (even through all of the panting and wheezing) lol
