Dag. Don't want to experience that.

Yes ma'am! I'm finding out this same thing right now. The last 15 pounds of my first goal is kicking my butt. We got this, though! Congratulations on making it this far 👏 🙌

The last 10 lbs took me a while to lose as well. I'm in maintenance now and have been able to keep it off!💪

The same here! About 4 lbs to go and it is being so hard! I've read that when we lose a lot of weight, the body thinks it is going to die, so it reduces the metabolism and starts to function with less energy, as a defense mechanism. It is recommended to intensify the exercises. Let' s keep going, being patient and Good luck!😊

I wish I were on my last 10 - 15 pounds. LOL.

Maintaining 10 pounds above goal is better than hitting goal and rebounding 20. If you've lost weight and are keeping it off, appreciate that victory! I found I stopped losing a time or two, and it was almost as if my body needed to adjust and reassure itself that we were in no actual danger of starvation 😉

It can be very hard and hopefully you can find something that will get you that last 10#'s. For me my trainer put me on macro's and that really worked to get off those last stubborn pounds. You got this!

It depends on how far you are pushing your body composition. Lower bodyfat (sub 10% men, sub 18% women) is very difficult. You have to be very strict. And if you want to stay there, you will have to hate your life. 🙄

I have been maintaining for a while. The only thing that works for me CONSISTENTLY is exacting what I had to do get to maintenance. Nuts! 😂

GREAT!Maintaining! Be GREATful for this, remember the disappointment every time you has a coffee & biscuit(s)with a slim friend & you gained, she never seemed to.
Your in the good place! I try to do something different, a personal theory is our body get used to the same old routine...you've inspired me to remember this thanks! I'm at the same stage myself. I'll eat just fruit for breakfast today instead of my carefully weighed muesli! Roast parsnips for lunch instead of bread or other carb-vicious-circle potato/pasta/rice. Thank you! WE CAN DO THIS

Some people recruit fat to burn from different parts of their body, in different stages, and they don’t all lose fat evenly from their entire body. For me, the first place I store fat, and lose fat seems to be the visceral fat in the omentum surrounding my organs. The last fat I would loose, the stuff my body hangs onto in reserve the most, is the subcutaneous fat in front of my abdominal wall, just below the skin.
