Beautiful music. Thank you from all of us for your well wishes. Reading journals on FS I now am so glad I finally decided to get "back to business" now after 2 months of binging.  

Happy New Year. Moonlight sonata has grown stale over the centuries but I enjoyed this rendition. Nice pick👍🏼 I tried to play this piece when I was 5, my hands were still too small for octaves, and my pinkies are still crooked from overstretching. Memories. Beethoven is my heart. I could go on and on about his string quartets but today we are going to have fun, there is a cute clip from BBC, it’s a piano duel Beethoven vs Steibelt, it’s corny but I sometimes watch it because I like drooling over a piano virtuoso🤣🎹 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qT8cBX893ic 

YF - Yea, I know that selection might prove problematic for you. Having experienced your appreciation for the classical side of things I guess I hoped I'd slide something past you. Ha Ha Ha silly me! ;) Still, I kept coming back to that song, and one other, which in hindsight I should have gone with as it involved a Beethoven song. Your video sample was very interesting. I didn't know some of the facts mentioned which surprised me. (I'd have thought some would have stuck from music appreciation in college). I approve of your "drooling" over a pianist virtuoso. I too gravitate towards those with "skill" in a defined instrument. But of course, I'm restating that which I have bored you with before. HA HA HA For now, let's enjoy the day well lived (thank you LivinBreezy for that line), songs well played, and get ready to seize the day tomorrow!
