I am very nervous to start my new job Monday! I'm hoping I can stick to my new plans with all the stress and change in schedule. I've got my fridge full of some great things, though. Double fiber bread, a light herb/garlic cheese spread, lunch meat, spinach/lettuce mix, tomato, snap peas, carrots, mushrooms, bell pepper, avocado, unsweetened almond milk, etc. I figure if I have just as many good options in the house as others are bringing in bad ... maybe I'll find it easier to choose the good.
I know it isn't the best, but I also realized those prepackaged smoothie mixes make the whey powder we have MUCH more palatable. As it is, I find it revolting. :/ But with that smoothie? I felt genuinely full, satisfied for hours without the desire to much. And it was nice to get more protein in me, esp. in the AM. Not perfect, but for now with how I'm "spending" my calories, it doesn't seem that bad. Later on when I hope to scrutinize my carbs/fats/proteins/sugars a little more? Ehh, probably not going to love this option.
