Hormones, rough emotions last couple of days. I caved. I had some sugar free candy, a lot of it. I'm still good on carbs and didn't have any aspartame. Just bleh. I don't feel like exercising. I'm getting behind on things. I'm just tired. I want a break.

I am having a day like that--minus the sugar free candy, but add a big slab of homemade bread with butter. No trip to the gym today and I don't really even feel like walking the dog, but I hope to do that soon (he hopes I will do that soon, too!). Some days you just have to cut yourself some slack and get the rest you need to carry on the fight.

I did my Zombie, Run! Introduction run and ran smack into a neighbor's plume of smoke outside her apartment door and sent me into a minor asthma attack making my lungs burn the rest of the run and my performance shoddy. Pissed me off. I get it. She hurts and doesn't feel like walking down to the patio to smoke every time she wants to smoke, but frankly, and this may sound cold-hearted, I don't care at this point. I run into it five feet from her door and have to stop and turn around. It messed up the GPS on the run so it thinks in 32 minutes I only went one mile. Yeah, right, walking at about 4.0 I only went /1/ mile. The other reason the smoke thing bugs me so much is that her next door neighbor is on oxygen at night due to his COPD and she could blow this building up with her lighting up, but she doesn't care. I'm sorry she's hurting, but people need to be able to breathe dammit.
