Had a real nice weekend, albeit exhausting as we had baby duty Friday and Saturday. So, anyone who follows my journal knows I have pet rats. My son turned me on to them. The grandson likes to give them treats. I have whole shell peanuts that I have him give to the rats because they are long enough that the baby won't be accidently nipped. The nuts I buy for the rats (for treats) are human grade. I buy them bulk and put them in ziplock bowls to keep them fresh. After helping the grandbaby give the rats their snack, I took one of the nuts out and ate it. I offered one to Chance, who promptly told me, No Nana, that's gross. I almost pee'd myself laughing! Yesterday I took the hubby out for a Father's Day brunch at the local Mexican resturant down the street. Food was pretty good, the 'live' chef needs to be looking for a new line of work. Son #3 has moved back in with us until he finds a new job. Just when the chicks start flying away from the nest..they somehow find their way back. Moan-Day has started off dreary and raining. Commute was slow, but uneventful. I am fighting some serious sinus congestion due to the pressure outside. Looking forward to next weeks long weekend, which means two short work weeks! YEAH!
