I was looking at my weight loss journey that started mid-October of 2012... Two years ago, in January of 2013, I weighed this same amount, approximately 185lbs. Six months later I was at my smallest during my previous journey, 160lbs. It took me nine months to go from 211lbs. to 160lbs. I'm hoping that somehow, in the next six months or so I learn how to eat right and it becomes natural. I don't want to have to take this journey anymore. I want to get to goal and have the life skills to maintain. In six months I can be in my happy place again. My goal is 150lbs., but I would still be just as elated to reach 160lbs.! 150lbs. would put me comfortably in a size 10, and that size is my ultimate goal. I'd love a size 10 wardrobe and not have to worry about keeping other sizes handy!

Here's to goals in sight!

Edited to add diet notes:
1. I need to bring my creamer down to one. My fat is too high for an (E) meal.
2. Lunch was a Heavy S meal. (Which can stall weight loss because of such high fat and calorie) Need to have my pepperonis and cheese on a salad tomorrow instead of on bread-in-a-mug. Maybe try bread in a mug as a sandwich with the Havarti and chicken breast I have in the fridge. Definitely need to add some more veggies!
3. Dinner was a fail. Not healthy at all. My cole slaw failed and I couldn't bring myself to eat it. Don't know what happened. I used the same recipe as always. So I decided to do bunless burgers, but I only had enough to feed the rest of the family. So, I had 4 jalapeno hotdogs w/o bun dipped in ranch. So not healthy, heavy (S) again, but at least I didn't do a crossover.

I've got to make a better plan of attack in the a.m.'s. To my credit though, I did have a last minute x-ray scheduled and had to drop plans. Still battling pneumonia.

You are learning the most important thing about weight loss. It is a never ending journey. In order to keep it off, you will forever have to watch what you eat and exercise. You can never go back to the way you used to eat. It sucks, but I have made peace with it. I'm learning portion control and moderation in all things. Good luck!
