njm's Journal, 01 May 2011

I continue to have difficulty with getting my foundation numbers right. Yesterday my overall carbs didn't even reach 12 grams. I was focusing on keeping a 60/35/5 ratio for fats, proteins and carbs. I came very close for the first time. I ate a fair amount of foundation vegetables. Some at every meal. I'll just keep working at it. I'm sure I'll stumble onto the right proportion before too long.
214.0 lb Lost so far: 13.0 lb.    Still to go: 66.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Your doing great.Ratios are 65-70 fats...25-30 protein...5-10 Net carbs..You should have 20 net carbs total for induction with 12-15 net carbs being your foundation veggies.Calories should be 1500-1800, but don't worry too much about that now.Drink your water. Its a learning process and its takes time. I hope I have been helpful.Good luck.. nonna
