Made my own salmon maki for a Sunday lunch! Turned out really delicious I tried some fun prep tips from youtube and they worked! Had to share, of course :)

Thanks everyone! I love sharing food pics and love seeing everyone's creations! I used costco salmon with bibigo sticky rice also bought at Costco. If you are bored check out Akira Sans Sushi at Home YouTube on salmon, and The Try Guys Make Sushi video is instructive and hilarious!

Hey Siegels, Costco salmon is pellet fed from Norway so the risk of parasites is really low. I froze it in portions, thawed, then a quick cure for 45 mins before serving. Really the best you can do on your own is buy farmed, and read reviews on quality of which Costco is really good. I'm constantly impressed with the quality of food they sell!
