I don't know why but I feel like eating badly today. GRRRRR!!! I am not going to give into this feeling. I had some almonds and a coffee with cream for breakfast and will have an omelet for lunch and chicken breast and broccoli for supper. This is the first time since the beginning of my journey in August that I have felt this way and I do not like it one bit. My husbands chips and butter tarts are staring at me. I think I will go do something active and try to stop thinking of non plan foods.

Your weight loss history is excellent! I saw the mini goals in your Bio, on your profile page. Do you have any non-food rewards? Getting to each one of your goals should encourage you to keep going!

i am in touch with that thought - and sometimes i give in - it sounds like you have your day's diet planned, just stay focused on that plan. it's a tough fight. i actually had a day like that today as well.

that is a difficult feeling to overcome, especially when there are foods in house that are not on my woe plan. Sounds like you have your plan for the day. But again I understand the craving. I am fortunate that I don't have those foods in the house. Is there anyway you can have your husband eat foods that are on your woe?

Thank you for your kind words. Deb_N I am encourage by making my mini goals. As to non-food rewards I will definitely be looking for smaller clothes. My daughter who is also on this site(Jennifer2905) and has lost 33 lbs, just got under 200, suggested looking in the thrift shop for clothes as they won't fit for very long. She founds some name brand jeans for only $4. Br_E_Co it must have been a day for temptations. JMA312 my husband is quite slim wears a 32 jeans. When I make a meal he eats the same protein and veggies as I do but I make him a potato or noodles to go with it. He really likes his snack foods, chips, pie, tarts. I am usually OK with seeing him eat as I have my own snack sorted out ahead of time like celery and cream cheese or sugar-free jello. It was seeing them on the counter that was the problem. An easy solution would have been to put the tarts in the fridge. Well, he has eaten them all now so it is not an issue right now. But it will be again and I will deal with it again. There is no way I am going back to bingeing on sweets and high simple carbs. I am in this for the long haul. I plan on being an active senior.
