Doing good :-) Made it through Halloween this year without raiding the candy! I have a friend that refers to candy corn (which is her trigger 'food' one of mine is the larger candy pumpkins) but she calls it 'candy crack corn' lol. Also she said she went to a party and there was a big dish of it, on top of the dish (I've seen this before) was a cartoon with deplicting where candy corn comes from, which was a witch picking the corns on her toes, LOL ok just keep that vision in my mind and maybe I won't crave it as much. But truthfully, I know I cannot eat that first one, I cannot stop with one. Just the way I am, some people can but I cannot. The saying, 1 is too many and 1000 is not enough, rings in my head. So why put myself in jeopardy giving into the voice of others saying, "oh, come on one won't hurt you" or " you can eat anything in moderation" or "just have a taste, or just one, or treat yourself", the list goes on and on. AND our commercials and media DO NOT HELP. I just have to realize the ONLY one that has my best interest at hand is ME. I have to be TRUE TO ME. I make the choice to NOT eat one. AND Thankfully I have begun to recognize that and take ACTION :-) So one day at a time and DO NOT allow others tempt me. I CHOICE to do this and I FEEL GOOD :-)

Good for you. Just one can hurt but you were strong and didn't give in.

AWESOME! I view food as fuel now. I think of my body as a luxury vehicle and it deserves premium fuel...so I'm cutting out the crap (my crack is cookies...oh god, cookies are my weakness.)

Well done. I am so with you! Sugar is my drug of chice and one grain sets me on the path. If I can stay off it I am fine but one foot on and down I go! Thankfully I do not get trick or treaters so I don't buy the candy b/c there is no way I could stay out of it. Bullet dodged!
