Katsolo's Journal, 23 October 2021

Finally, a good day. Got a solid swim in, learned to cough through the breathing and got it done. 847 strokes, 10.4METs, average heart rate was 151 which was a little higher than I thought but was probably because I'm breathing challenged at the moment.

Walked dogs later in the evening and went out of our way for a really cool Halloween house at the north end of the neighborhood and it was totally worth it. 3.17 miles, totally different than our normal routes. They had even more in the yard, but there was a woman there with small yippy dogs that wouldn't move on so we'll go back another night.

Spooky!!!

Wow, very impressive! I could never own a yappy dog. Our last two dogs were golden retrievers, sweet dogs and great for the children.

Those small, dark figures in the second pic are animatronic children. They're singing spooky songs. They're one of the reasons I'm going back. I've also decided to get that giant skeleton next year. Seems you have to order in June/July. On it. If I plan (obsess) it, it's not a spontaneous splurge, right? Also gives me time to figure out where the heck to store it. He's not going to fit in any of my two closets (old house) and definitely don't want him under my bed.

What, no "skeletons in the closet"? I wonder how many of us can make that claim.

Oh Katsolo, how fun is that?!!! I may get one for next year as well for camping. Storing is a problem. We have a garage = all of Al’s fishing 🎣 crap.😁 Plus, our home is very old as well, garage was made for a model A.🙃 Hope your body can recover with all your physical exercise, be careful!💕 Only owned Labs, German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Dobermans, hated hated stupid small dogs!!! We somehow ended taking in and rescuing a lost Chihuahua mix, smartest dog I have ever owned!!! Understands everything I say, doesn’t shake, yip or bark or attack people. I am so scared to lose him, his getting up there in years, for he can’t be replaced for sure!!! Would have never thought this kind of dog could be so smart! ❤️ Thanks for the pictures, will probably be getting a huge skeleton too.👍

Wow! That's really cool. Also thank you for your concern on my post. We are doing well and Sydney actually went to park with me yesterday. She only walked a bit cuz her knee is still tender but at least I got her out. I'm better too. 💜💜💜

My garage is my office and was also designed for a model A or more likely a model T since I'm not in one of the bigger houses. Side note, our CCR's from 1920 are equal parts hysterical and offensive. My favorite neighbor has three chi's that I get along with because he treats them like dogs and so they act like dogs. I even feed them from time to time when he's away.

Good to hear, Diana. Just remember, dogs live in the now. Keep pushing forward, but gently.

CCR? Coca-Cola Refreshments? Confused. 🤔 Diana I’ve been thinking about you and your dog. I’m glad to hear she’s doing good.👏👏👏 Sort of what happened to us, but because ours was screaming at the time I babied him and babied him and now he whines a little which he never did before, just to get and be babied, a learned response. Otherwise I treat my dogs just like Katsolo does and we’ve always had the best loving and behaved dogs.💕

CCR's are neighborhood regulations. Total bunk where I live, no HOA here, but funny to read in hindsight. This "undesirable person" is enjoying her little house very much 101 years later.

I give no credence to CCR 😉
