Have I mentioned how much stress I'm under? I've got SOO many things going on, like school work (4 tests, 2 days.), slacking on potty training, cleaning up a nervous dog's messes (NOT even my damn dog..), and working on my body..

I HATE phase 2!!! I didn't have until after Owen's naptime, and then it went down hill from there. I could not STOP myself from eating tonight, but at least the sweet stuff I had was sugar free (1 pudding, 2 servings of cool whip, sugar free chocolates (2)).. When I'm stressed out like I was today, I DO find myself "getting cravings" for something that makes me feel better. WHY does my body do that? I was doing semi-decent today, and then all hell broke loose when that STUPID dog decided to pee (for the 5th time) on my ottoman/carpet/floors. If it wasn't so damn cold, the dog would be outside, with food, water, and shelter of course. He gets so anxious with my son running around, and this has only happened in these last few days, and ONLY when I'm able to witness the urine (because i'm the only one who gives a rats hiney!).

Wow..talk about a vent. Just please keep me in your prayers, or say a little diddy for me. Tomorrow I go to the doctor to see about something cyst-like, and I'm just hoping it can be knocked out in one shot.

Good for you keeping it sugar free. I hate it when stress mounts and the only thing that makes me feel better is food. I keep trying to find some other way to deal with it, but somehow taking a brisk walk is not as satisfying as chewing! Keep up the good work!

How old is your son? Mine just turned 2. I haven't attempted to potty train yet. He has gone 2 or 3 times but we haven't tried wholeheartedly. I think I may try when it warms up a bit. Not so many clothes to strip down every time he needs to sit on the potty. How is it going with Owen?

It's not as successful as I wish it was. He'll find the corners in the house to have a "stand-still" and wet his training pants - AND then come and tell me "Uh-oh", with pee running down his legs. He'll then attempt at sitting on the potty. At least he correlates that he's supposed to be on it. I just don't know how to get his brain wired to think "Oh, I've got to go, better get Mom" and then go sit on it before peeing. I'd rather pick up Owen's messes, than my sister's dog's messes. Male dog urine...egh.

Oh, and I'm not at all mean about Owen's pee messes. I'm positive AND I give candy when he just goes to sit on it. He loves stickers too. It's like i don't have enough confidence in myself to get this done with him.

well, everyone says boys tend to wait a lot longer than girls, with the exception of a few. Most are not fully trained until 3 1/2. I really don't think my son has the control yet.

white vinegar works really well in getting rid of the dogs urine stain and smell so it won't go in or around the same spot again.
