Betty's Journal, 19 February 2007

It seems no coincidence that a lot of the people that journal here are the ones losing weight??? It obviously shows a better commitment to losing weight and actually works.

Anyway, I have orded the You Book and am going to give it a go because as each day/week/month goes by it is getting harder and harder and I am just kidding myself if I think the weight will magically disappear.

You're right - I haven't been journalling because I was embarrassed that I had cheated and missed workouts. But I decided today that I need to write down the good and the bad and that will help me stay focused.

I think accountability helps everyone. That's one way Weight Watchers helped me when I did that a few years ago. That's one thing too the You book stresses, to find a partner and report to each other, the good and the bad. :)
