Mackerel - BIG MISTAKE
so Saturday I bought a pack of mackerel fillets (4 in a pack) What a huge mistake that was. Those little buggers are so calorific for what they are, I bought them as im trying to keep under 700 calories and thought they were healthy. It was only when I looked at the packet after eating them, I realised they are so calorific! Not only that but I found they made me feel more hungry and eat more the rest of the day, compared to when I had chicken or salmon. As tasty as they were I wont be buying them again as I feel they may jeopardise my healthy eating. At least I went to the gym yesterday I guess. I may steer clear of avocado for now too as its also calorific but not filling, although its not so bad as the mackerel so depends on the meal I guess.

On a positive note, im feeling blooming marvellous today. I cant believe how much happier I've been since switching to a healthier diet and doing a bit of exercise, I would have started sooner had I of known it would make such a huge difference so soon. I feel much fitter and much healthier already. it may also be due to the fact that after a ridiculously unlucky 3years for me and my fella, things have finally started to go well and I can, for the fist time in 4 years, see a much brighter future for the Whiting-Turner family :-)
