I was 8 stone and still in age 14-15 clothes when I met my partner 4 years ago. When I moved in with my other half my eating habits and lifestyle quickly changed.
Four years and a baby later and im weighing in at 11 stone 4 pounds and in size 14 clothes, which at 22 years of age and 5 ft 1" in height, you could say im feeling like a bit of a tree trunk before my time (old and stumpy).

as for my health, boy am I feeling it! I didn't even realise how active and social I was back then. Nowadays my life is about as exciting as a fish on weed.

So here I am, trying to 'spruce things up' and get my oomph back

How do you measure your body fat percentage?
Does anyone know how you can measure your body fat percentage?
I've just started dieting properly this year, started off on Cambridge diet and now eating healthy and have cut out grains. Im seeing result on the scales and everyone says I look a lot slimmer but I would like to be able to measure my body fat percentage to ensure it is fat I am loosing and not just water.

If anyone knows how to do this that would be fab

After recipes under 280 calories and free from grains please
Hi all,
Im after recipes under 250 calories (280 at a push)that are free from grains (so basically fruit, veg, meat, fish and dairy only really, nuts and seeds are ok too) I need recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner mainly. snack recipes would be good too but they must be under 100 calories.

Thanks Smile

One for the ladies . . . how do you conquer those 'time of the month' bad food cravings?
A few days ago, I demolished a whole cheese and tomato pizza by myself and a whole tub of ben and jerrys doughble whammy icecream and then had a microwave spag bol for dinner! I was ill as well as it being the day before my period, but still that's a lot of food for one person!

The worse thing is I have never been regular, my other half know when im going to come on before I do because I turn into Mrs Hyde and when I get these cravings its for like 3 or 4 days not just a day.

I think the staying busy idea will probably work best for me, but I also get awful cramps when some days it hurts to even move :-/

LOOSE BELLY FAT SOLUTIONS
Chad I never insulted you or your advice. I agree with what your saying completely with regards to diet and exercise helping you loose weight etc, obviously there are differences between men and women with regards to biological terms. Im not a nutritionist/dietician/fitness instructor etc so to be honest any advice I can get is useful to me.

I didn't really say anything because I don't want to be involved in arguments on here, I came on this site and commented on this thread because im trying to loose weight and want as much help, advice and motivation as possible. so I chose to ignore any comments I though catty and continue with the conversations worth having.

The more advice the better and I shall choose what I want to take from that advice as will others.

And mummydee it was the first time I had done pilates so didn't really know what to expect but maybe ill give it another go.
