myawethinTICself's Journal, 18 January 2014

Tomorrow is weigh-in on my 2nd week challenge to BLAST the FAT & once again I feel confidant! Oh how good it is to see the rewards of all my efforts :D
In reviewing my diet calender I have taken note of what my numbers were on week 1,then compared them to the numbers of this week & THAT is WHY I feel CONFIDENT!!!

The results of the comparisons:(not included is #'s of this evenings dinner)
*A total calorie decrease of 691
*Fat/Carbohydrate calories decreased by 34.52%
*Protein decreased by 96.39%

I'm not alarmed by the decrease in protein since,as I said last week-I'm new at this carb-cycling-so I did quite a bit of research during the week & found,I am consuming way too much in all areas! They ALL needed to be lowered.
Also, if you were following my progress, thru my journals, you no doubt noted that altho' I mentioned that my stomach *felt* empty I didn't feel hungry, I just felt satisfied.8> As a matter of fact,my BODY is beginning to alert me when I need to feed it by it's universal method... "growling"...& I find it's most enjoyable! :D

Anyway-I'm extremely looking forward to tomorrows weigh-in,but TODAY...
I'm thankful for:
***The ability to connect the dots
***My hubby, who provides me the time so I can connect the dots
***And last but not least, the stomach growl, which is proof I *am* connecting the dots :D

Until tomorrow!.....

Thanks CHICKA, even if the scale doesn't show it I have *seen* wonderful results on all my efforts!!! I was preparing dinner & looked down thinking I dropped something on me & WOAH....I didn't see my stomach!!! I kept looking trying to figure out what was different....it took me awhile before I realized my stomach wasn't beyond my bust anymore :D This,I know, didn't happen over night.I KNOW it is a cumulative effect from all my successful actions since I made up my mind to "DO...regardless", yet to my mind, at THAT moment,it was nothing short of miraculous! :D And of course there are MANY more wonderful results but they have been *felt* & not seen. They, too, had seemed so far off from my reach....but not anymore. :D They have never been closer!

That is wonderful to look down and not see your stomach. The scale does not always reflect our progress but it's good to know that whatever your regiment is it is working for you. Keep it up!
