Demianwulf's Journal, 11 November 2013

Gained a bit of weight the last month or so...from my 190 low (didn't record that), I hit a high of about 198 (definitely didn't record that). Sometimes the eating just gets the better of you.

I am back down to about 195, but this 195 is probably more solid and muscular than the 192 I was about a few months ago. This is going to be my second week of 5 day workouts. I am still doing a MWF split of exercise, but tacking on a basketball game, swimming, or something else cardio related T & TH.

I am having a hard time trying to get the right balance of calories per day to steady lose weight. I am going to try about 22-2400 calories a day for weight loss. I hope this isn't too low and I'll monitor my weight week to week in hopes of getting to 192 but solid.

Hmm, what else can I say? Not sure if I wrote about the yogaesque stretching I am doing every morning now. About 15 minutes of stretching before I work out and so far so good. I don't know if it is adding much to my fitness, but I like it. I'll try it for another month or so and see if I feel more flexible and limber.

No major injuries or nagging pains of note for a while now, so this is fantastic news. Shoulder pain is sort of non existent, but I do not do any major lifts like bench press, etc that really taxes the shoulders directly. Knees have held up well and I have no complaints. Plantar fascitis is mostly gone, but it is more of a dull ache nowadays. I do not play basketball on any regularity now, but it use to flare up the next day, but now it only aches slightly.
