I recently found a low carb brand called Carb Krunchers. They make breads, bagels, hamburger buns, and hot dog buns with net carb values ranging from 3 to 6. This looks like a very interesting option but I wondered if anyone had tried them. They are expensive so I'd love to hear feedback before ordering.

Also, would you consider this a slippery slope? I've done without bread of any kind (excepting the occasional wrap)for so long I wonder if this could lead to indulging in bread that isn't Atkins friendly. But the idea of having a "real" hamburger..not just the patty..is really appealing to me. ;)

I'd really like to hear your thoughts.

I'd say stick to the wraps and try the bread after you hit goal. I've gotten really close to goal and a new product just gets me off track. Just stick to what works and you'll have room to experiment when you reach your goal. YOU ARE SO CLOSE!!!! :D Then again, if you consider it a legal "treat" and only have those low-carb bread products occasionally, then indulge. If you find it stalls you or gives you cravings, just stop. Make sure you keep track of how you react to them if you do decide to try them.

Thanks Sara - the fact that I'm questioning it before even buying is pretty telling. :) I think I'll hold off a little longer before making the investment. Glad to see you are feeling better.

Yea, maybe you already know the answer. :) Listen to your body.
