UGH! I'm upset. I keep having bloody chest pains and I couldn't work out today because of them. How am I going to lose the weight when I keep getting massive chest pains due to my Mitral Valve Prolapse and my weight! :-(

Instead of a workout, do you feel that you can do something that will just get you moving? Go to the mall and walk slow laps, dance around the living room, sort laundry, vacuum or just walk around the block and look at the trees? Good luck, and I hope you are feeling well soon.

I couldn't work out when I started here, not MVP which I am familiar with, but I was having serious symptoms of stroke and heart attack. I couldnt even go up the stairs in my house without chest pain and an unstable very high heart rate. What I did was deep breathing and stretching. In fact the first week I laid out flat on the floor, stretched out as straight as I could get and breathed in and out. I lost about 30 pounds before I was really ready to do any exercise, even then it was more of yoga and hand weights. I couldn't do too much. That point didn't come for me until I was down about 45 pounds, then I was finally able to really go for more aerobic activity. Then I started swimming, that was really good for me. Hang in there, there are ways. When you're watching what your eating, you'll lose weight. Don't worry. Hang in there.

just curious...could part of your problem be that you are eating lays potato chips and coconut pie...you have to want the loss and the better health more than you want the "snacks"

Great point, yes, I see that now looking at your food diary. I did lose weight and a lot even without being able to "aerobically "exercise but I religiously watched what I ate and I didn't cheat, not even once...because I was afraid Id die of a heart attack if I didn't lose the weight and get healthy.
