Good Morning all!!

Looks like some bumpy weather is moving in here today!! All kinds of rumbles.....

The hubby had to work this morning, so the shopping expedition will be postponed until he gets back home...lol!! The life of a plumbers wife!

The sweetheart bought me a new tank top last night!! Granted, it didn't cost much, but that wasn't the point!! Lovely shade of pink with hummingbirds on it!! And.......its a 2x instead of a 3x!!!!

We even ate out at Firehouse Subs last night! I didn't know there was a listing in the foods for them!! I downloaded their nutritional info from their website. I love going there!! I got their Chef's salad with ham...had to bring half of it home!!

I really have to start making myself eat more.....sort of. I have been struggling to make 1200 calories!!
I have been trying to monitor my carbs, and been failing badly this past week.
Today's shopping will cure that . I may end up with more fat calories than I want, but thats ok, as I will be lowering my carbs and raising my protein.

I will be heading off to the little mom and pop store soon to buy some meat. I love going there, and even though their meat is a little more expensive, its worth every penny!!! The meat they sell is free from antibiotics and other hormones that the commercial farmers use.

I adore their ground chuck!! It is soooo super lean!! And the taste is noticeably BETTER! You have to actually add butter to your skillet when browning this meat, or if you make a burger, because if you don't , it sticks like crazy!!! That little added butter won't hurt.
I make sure I use some coconut oil along with it.

I am going to have fun today shopping!! I plan on getting fresh lettuce and spinach and califlower, and maybe some tomatoes to make my own salsa!! We missed the farmers market this morning, so no farm fresh eggs, but I will make sure to grab a dozen today.

I have my Lemon Water made, and am finishing up my coffee for today.

We may end up eating out, but that will be my big calorie meal for today if we do.
The it may be a nice salad with homemade lemon dressing!!

Love pink, love hummingbirds, love the 2x instead of a 3x. Good for you. I shop at our corner mart and find the meat better than the big mart too - am grilling burgers for dinner but I go for the higher fat content for flavor because hub doesn't really like the lean and it would all be the same calorically if I use the coconut oil. I've never been one for farm fresh eggs; around here they get way to watery in the summer but I do love our farmers market for the rest. Thanks for the buddy invite.
