OK. I've been doing this diet since Jan. 1st. To date I've lost 10 lbs, but I've cheated once or twice and now I'm gaining instead of loosing. The better I do and not cheat the more I gain. I even run 5 to 6 days a week.

my incentive is betting my sister that I can loose more then her. haha

Oh I am competing with my sister too. How funny. Maybe you are gaining muscle since you are running. It is wierd but I think cheating just a little bit may help you. Maybe when you cheat and then get right back to being good it makes you lose more like you did in that first week. I am afraid to cheat too much because I am afraid of going back to my old ways. You are doing great - keep it up. With all that exercise the weight should melt off soon.

ok I think when you are gaining the weigh the diet it not for your body type. So try the south beach diet or the new Bob Greene's best life.Web sites for the diets are www.oprah.com and www.southbeach-diet-plan.com don't give up try different ones and you will find the right one for you.

Really, 10 pounds the first month/three weeks isn't bad. I started on the 2nd and that's all I've lost... round about. I'm sure you have a lot less to lose to make it to your ideal weight too. Remember, those last few pounds are usually the hardest to loose. Sometimes it takes a while for the diet to kick in. I've even gained the first few weeks before instead of loosing. It's weird.. but it will level out... just give yourself time.. and Muscle does weigh more than fat.

THE SAME THING IS HAPPENING TO ME!!!!! I'm also trying to figure this out. Let me know when you decide what you are going to do. I thought about going back to weight watchers. :(
