Ok, so part of my motivation for dieting is to lower my cholesterol. I originally had a dr. appt. scheduled for Mar. 22. My dr. cancelled my appt. because he was having surgery and rescheduled me for May 9th. TODAY, I get a call rescheduling me again for May 28th! Did I mention I had already had my blood work done for the first appt. when he cancelled (and never got my results), and now I have to get it done again?! If it is that important for me to make my appt. every 3 months so he can monitor me( and get my copay), then why is it okay for him to cancel and put me off for 2 months! I asked to see another dr. in the office and they wouldn't let me. Ok, I'm done venting now.
I really have had a good couple of days. I have managed to skip the junk food AND exercise. I even managed to turn down fast food.
I am nervous about the next couple of days. I have family staying with me from out of town for my Great Uncle's funeral. I know there will be lots of food, plus the urge to do some emotional eating. I will just have to treat them like any other day and take it one meal at a time.
