So I'm a little upset. I've been doing harder workouts than usual, and I've been quite active. The problem is, I don't feel like I'm losing any body fat. In fact, I feel as if I have gained! Yes, I do think my legs are a bit more toned in some areas, but there is fat covering it! I am so frustrated, I don't know how to get rid of the fat. I thought consistent working out would decrease my body fat percentage, but it doesn't seem to be doing so :( And I don't feel any thinner.

On the plus side, I went to dinner with my family tonight. I usually don't eat Mexican food, but we went to the only place where I will eat it. I had fabulous grilled scallops, which were served with guacamole, cilantro dressing, and a tropical fruit salad which was made with papaya and mango. I didn't eat the black beans, though I did eat the rice. And when we got home, I had some decaf coffee and a little piece of the funfetti. However, I decided that would be my last taste of this batch!!

Hopefully the scale will budge a bit tomorrow... it jumps 3 pounds after I go out to eat! Though it usually comes off quickly, it has been particularly stubborn as of late.

My run this morning was awful; I think it was a combination of the humidity, heat, wind, shin splints, and I got awful stomach cramps. So I only did 28 minutes, 3.5 miles. I had to blow off my plan to do 4.4 miles and a few hills, which was really disappointing. But I want to get back at it tomorrow after work, even if it is a relatively short run. I'm sick of going 3ish days between runs! I think consistency will really help me, and I need to stop making excuses!

You are very tiny. At your size, it might take a while to lose the body fat. Are you strength training? You need a combination of strength training and cardio (and clean eating), to really lose the body fat. I can't emphasize enough the difference strength training can make to your body shape and size. Don't be afraid of some weights. Women are not predisposed to large muscles. You are doing great! Good luck!
