Goal: Lose 5 pounds in 4 weeks to 172 Start: September 16, 2019 - 177 End: October 13, 2019 - 175 Well, the scale is barely moving, but 2 more inches off my waistline & the little rolls of fatty tissue just under my belly skin that used to be there - gone, no more. My RDI is averaging 3,000 p/day, riding 200 mile weeks, healthy for refueling 40, 50 mile rides. Cal deficit is still averaging at least -800 cals p/day. So, at this point, I don't think ideal health has much to do with 175, or 172, or even 180 probably. My ride speeds are increasing, my strength is increasing, my endurance is increasing, did my first 105 km ride last week. So, the scale isn't saying 172. It's just a number. Although the scale barely moves, my body is rapidly transforming - I am becoming a lean, mean, fuel-burning machine, seriously fit @ 175 and holding steady. Continuing to eat 90% very clean, mostly organic, home prepared, no fast food, limited restaurant food, limited dairy, limited grains (especially refined grains, white flour), only infrequent spurts of refined sugar (I ate 2 boxes of Belvita cookies after my 105 km ride, good refueling), plenty of clean water, fiber & digestive support (probiotics, enzymes).

Great! Haven’t partied since.. forever? And it was a corporate kinda mandatory thing. Who cares about status if you have enough to pay your bills and feel comfortable about yourself. Good looks? I am sorry, they do matter, that’s how we all, I mean the world is.

Glad you're transforming your body! The scale doesn't show the big picture but I still find it irritating sometimes. Yes, velvetee... Looks definitely matter no matter how often people pretend they don't. Lucky you're a hotty. ❤️
