I am fixing kelbe for the first time tonight. The recipe is Jerry and Julie Ellsworth's. I made only half the marinade from their recipe, because theirs made far too much and wasted perfectly good ingredients. So I grilled the meat and boiled down the marinade. I am calling the result "teriyaki sauce." There is really no other equivalent. And I am serving it with white rice and grilled zucchini. I am marinating the zucchini in what is left of the marinade for the artichokes. I think that will be tasty. I can't tell how much of the marinade stuck to each piece of zucchini. I am guessing not much, so I am counting it as 1/2 T olive oil, which is the only ingredient with any points in the zucchini marinade. The meat marinade has a sugar problem and only about 1 t. of sesame oil.
