Good Morning, FS Warriors! Hallelujah! I met my weight goal at work. I don't know how I did it, but I did. I probably shouldn't tell you this, but I figured that there was no way I was going to meet my goal, so I stopped at the MacDonalds Drive-thru last night and got a Mocha Coffee and a Quarter Pounder with Cheese - and I still made my weigh-in goal this morning - right on the nose! That's 237.5 lbs. - actually up 0.5 lb. from last week's FS weigh-in, but still within Feb 22nd's goal at work. Saved $20; Yahoo!

Now I know I shouldn't have indulged last night with the "what's the use" attitude - going against everything I preach. OK, I repent. Today's a different day, and the 1st day of the rest of my life.

I'm feeling better. Still sleeping in the chair. Only had a couple coughing spells during the night. Still managed to get a fairly good night's sleep. May actually sleep in bed tonight. Dog is probably going to put up a fuss, having to move down to the foot of the bed again. :)

Oh yeah - the snow. I think we did get 3 to 5 inches last night. 32F this morning; will probably melt off pretty fast over the next couple days. There was a lot of slush in between lanes coming to work, and the roads were slick, but it wasn't terrible. It was a pretty snow, and I think the farmers were glad to see it. There was a solid sheet of ice under the snow on the windshield and windows of the truck this morning. I would have preferred about a foot and a half, where everything came to a stop, but all in all, it was good.

Hope everyone has a great day, and an even better weekend. Toodles!

WTG, DK! Very nice, in spite of your McD's. Loving the repenting. Glad you're feeling better. Hope you can recover 150%. Stay warm and toasty with the snow. How's DW doing, btw?

DW is doing fine. She has an appointment to have her hair done today. You can certainly see the change in her since her hair has grown back. It's not quite long enough for the style she wants, but she is going to have it evened up. We may both enter the Spring without any serious health issues. Hallelujah!

Yeah I was hoping we would get the "can't make it to work because of the snow" too but not this week. Maybe next week :) That makes 2 of my buddies going to Mickey D's this week. What is up with that. You must not have seen the movie "Food Inc.". :)

Yeah, I saw the Youtube lead-in on the movie. I am not a vegetarian, and I don't like killing animals. And I don't think they are all killed humanely; I wish they were. But I don't believe cows and chickens go to heaven. We raise them for food, and I think that abusers should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I like to eat meat; if they could make vegetables taste like steak, I would give up meat. Just think, if it wasn't for us meat eaters, there wouldn't be enough food to go around. We would be overrun by animals, and people would starve for the sake of feeding cows and chickens. IMHO.

Whoooa .... Well done DK... Hey, it doesn't matter that you don't know how you did it (although it would be good to know, for future losses).... More important, you did it.. Amazing LOL

I adore my beef, chicken, pork and fish. I just would like to know they were treated properly before they come to my plate. With the way MD's runs the meat, corn and potato world market companies like Tyson Foods have to tow the line and do what MD's says and that doesn't allow for the humane treatment of animals or humans since they give us so much chemicals. So I'm off my box on your journal now. :)

Well, nice job making weight regardless of your indulgence. Must have done well this week otherwise!

Waa Waaa weeeeahhhhH! You made it, does that mean you are not 20 bucks poorer? I like the dollar double cheeseburgers. Yummm, my dog likes them too, so I split with them, but haven't had one since December. My favorite is m&m mcflury.. ok move on, no more mcdonalds talk, hmmmmyummmm hahaha.... Here's to a week of good eats.

Lizzy, are you sure we're not related? :D It did not cost me the $20.00 last week, but I'm in even more danger this week. It's OK though; I'm the only one that hasn't paid up yet. I can't get lucky forever. I think the bag of chocolate mini-doughnuts this weekend is going to do me in. I can't continue to tempt fate and expect to keep being victorious in this. Onward and upward!
