Ahhh, the good news feels good! Follow up testing with my doctor and the switch from oral estradiol to the patch is working like a charm. My bad cholesterol is down to 164 from about 193 and my triglycerides are down to the low-to-mid-100's from over 350! It's amazing how much that little blue pill did to my body or more specifically to my liver. Another reason to keep yourself healthy and avoid having to take any oral medications. Of course I'm not oral med free but I can't help the genetics.
Anyhow, I'm now on a good path to start cleansing and resetting my body. Today is Day 1 of a 3-day juice cleanse and so far so good. From what I've read it's really Day 2 that gets you. Your body fights back from all the abuse of being a toxic dumping ground for how ever long you haven't been paying attention to what you are stuffing in it. Overjoyed.

That's my goal date to feel fit and healthy. I want to have reached my 140 pound goal, look at my dressed self and realize there's no muffin top!

Starting yet again.
I suppose there's something to be said for starting over and over and over and not giving up. Right? I've held myself fairly steady at a 5 pound weightloss but I really need...ok, I would really like... to get the last 10-12 pounds off of me. What I
need
is to get physically fit. So, it's time. I want to thin down and get in shape as part of my new life with my husband-to-be. The wedding is in July - it's crunch time people! Time to shed, time to get moving...time to keep the ibuprofen and carrot sticks handy!

I need to get active and it's so hard for me during the winter. Every joint in my body aches, I'm miserable and I miss the summer heat. Anyone else have experience with chronic back and joint pain which becomes unbearable during the winter months?
