So I've joined WW yday because I can't seem to get it together this time around. I guess I am ready to do this, but vacillating. I was there about a year ago but not committed and only lost about 7 lbs before giving up. I have reduced my crazy work schedule for the next 2 mos so I can focus (I have had the most success when my life has been balanced, and it was much easier and enjoyable to focus). I feel like I have half a chance with this. I only fit 2 pairs of pants in my closet and about 3 shirts - everything else is too small. I am now size 24. Largest size ever. I feel shame for letting myself go to pot physically, but hey, all a girl can do is keep trying...

Getting ready to go walked. Maintaining my eating but I am craving more flavor. Followed new recipe for healthy honey mustard chicken - meh. I will have to try again with things that are more flavorfull. Off to walk now. Continuing with 20 minutes/day this week. We will see what next week brings...

So I am extremely proud of myself today. Started off the new year right. Ate well. My goal is to avoid fast food and unhealthy snacking - my two loves. So of course I had to plan my day. And I was able to stick to my goals even being busy helping my sister's family move into their new apartment. I walked for 20 min. Amazing how I feel better mentally and physically already. Day by day, step by step...

The last few days have not been great days as far as my eating. First thing I did this morning is start it out with a bottle of water. I am so full of sugar and fat. Will start introducing healthy food into my system. Going for a walk today. The new year brings hope of a new outlook; not to be perfect, but to try harder.
I am looking at different profiles of people who are 30 lbs down, etc. It is so inspiring. I hope we all make it to goal. I can't wait to look different. My personal best.
I think I am going to try to type more positive so it will inspire me thinking that way. I do it in life, when I feel I can't do an interpreting job but then I blow it out the water. My self-image is great; if I can get my body image more in line with it, I can't lose...

This is ridiculous - I am getting ready to go walking around my neighborhood for 30 min (first time in forever, yeah) and I am embarrassed to be seen. Embarrassed because my neighbors saw me after I dropped 28 lbs: "wow", "great", "your hips are really coming down".
Now here I am starting back from square one. Oh well, it happens. Let me get these hips on out the door. Blog ya lata...
