Anyone have the $300 2yr 24 hr fitness gym pass that Costco sells? I think I might get it. It sounds cheap. Ive never had a gym pass. I've always been anti-gym. But with winter pretty much here, I think it will be helpful. I also hear the gym isnt as packed at the end of the year.
I had jury duty yesterday. I got there 30 min late, just in time for the video and orientation. They let my group leave at around 11:30. Easy day. I was going to go to the pumpkin patch with the twins, but we ended up walking around the mall instead.
I gained about 3lbs in Chicago. I hopped on the scale this morning, and I was down 3lbs, plus its TOM! and it's friday! yay! I'm happy :)

Back from my week-long chicago trip. wow, what a city! i had a wonderful time with my cousin. went all over chicago, went to parks, downtown, the zoo, and the aboretum. we walked a lot, but i also ate a lot :( deep dish pizza, probably the pizza ive ever had, hot dogs, gyros, and italian food. we made a couple of home-cooked meals too. i hope i didnt gain that much. I was feeling guilty yesterday about abandoning my diet, so i worked out for about 45min. did sit ups, cardio, and a lil bit of yoga. i had a banana for breakfast, soy beans as a snack, and a lean cuisine for lunch. so far so good. i am walking at the park after work today, if the weather permits. halloween is in 3 weeks! cant wait.

okay im setting another goal. i need to lose weight,approx 20 lbs, before Halloween. Ive been losing/gaining the same ten pounds these last three months because of all the partying and trips. I went to San Francisco this weekend, and of course there was no diet. The week before that I was in vegas celebrating my cousins bday, and of course no diet there too! haha. After the wedding this weekend, I need to start getting back into my routine. Since overtime at work took over my life these last two months, I fell off track. I will try to exercise this week and be good, but work is crazy right now because our office is moving. So we are working out of a box and dont really have a stable place/office area to do all of our stuff. Meh, oh well. Things will be back to normal in about a week!

i went to the el torito brunch buffet today :( i was not good, but i did realize that I am not eating as much as before. i had three tacos, some salad, menudo, flan, corn cake, rice, and a diet pepsi. the old me would have had twice as much!!
It was my only meal of the day because I ate around 1pm, (i came home at 4am, woke up at 8am). I was so sleepy and lazy after we ate, and had a feeling that I was probably going to be lazy all day, but then I went swimming for two hours, came home and then slept. I did a lot of laps in the pool, so im pretty sure i burned it off.
Im working a lot of overtime, so ive taken a break from the trainer lady classes i go to. I am not feeling it anymore. She has helped me tone up, but i feel like it is time to move on and do it on my own. ive always refused to join a gym, but lately ive been thinking about. i would like to use their pool. i love swimming. but i dont know if it will be worth it, and if ill actually go. i love to walk and have been going with my sis or friends, but i wondert if we will keep it up once it starts getting cold.
im going hiking again tomorrow, so that should be a really good workout!

according to our work scale, we have a digital medical scale in our bathroom, i have lost 5 lbs! i think the loss is directly related to my working out 4 days a week, and the hiking I did this tuesday. I went to peters canyon and did a 5 mile hike. it was so challenging, but i felt so good at the end. I was sore for 3 days.
my new goal is to lose ten pounds before ninos wedding, which is the last week of sept.
