In less than an hour, I’m going to Curves for the 1st time since my oral surgery (wisdom teeth extraction & bone graph on 5/27). Since I have taken such a long break, I want to weigh and measure to see if I progressed or not. Of course, I would love to progress rather than regress. LOL! Update ya soon. ;-)

This weekend was TOUGH!! Who am I kidding? The weekend was the absolute toughest time for my new lifestyle (so far). I’m a creature of habit. I have a set schedule during the week and it works great. The freestyle of the weekend really throws me off. I’ve got 2 months under my belt and not as close to my goal as I would like to be. I need some help with strategies for dealing with the weekend temptations. For example: I like to watch TV while I fold clothes. So I’m flipping through the channels and what do I find… a cooking show on Food Network. As I’m watching the chef prepare some scrumptious fare, I find myself snacking. Mindlessly snacking!! I’m not a mindless snacker anymore!! At that point, I had already scarfed down a pack of Lance Crackers. YIKES! What should I do block the Food Network on my cable box??
