I live in Sarasota, FL. I'm a young 50 and love working out with weights...cardio not so much. Getting married May, 19, 2012 to a great guy, at a waterfall in GA. I have a beautiful 18 y.o. daughter...who does not eat meat. I wish there was an easier/faster way to lose weight! I'm giving up my red wine for a bit to see if that helps...waaaugh. This is my first time trying an on line program.

What can you guys recommend for the best Dancing workout?
Crunch Fitness Gym has Zumbathons (2 hours) once a month - great workout - GOOD Zumba instructors will make the class fly by and you'll want more!!

Favorite Yogurt ?
I also like the Chobani. But for me, Healthy Choice has new Frozen Greek Yogurt (at Walmart) and its a whole lot better than eating yogurt. I also have purchased PB2 (powdered peanut butter/choc) and mix that in my yogurt - delicious. Hope this helps and good luck!

Body image
I too, in looking at a picture from my late twenties (I am now 50) I did not recognize or appreciate the fit body I had because at that age I just took it for granted that was the way I was supposed to look and I didn't have to work that hard at it. Now my life is sweating bullets daily to get to where I want to be!

Calories Fat, carbs and etc.
Hi - I was able to figure it out by using the calculations on a web site called WellaBella. I hope this helps you out - they give actual numbers to go by rather than percentages. By using this tool, it was the first time I was actually ever able to figure out pretty close to what my body needed every day. I am 50, 5'5", currently 137.4 aiming for 124. My carbs should be around 130-170/day, protein around 120/day, calories 1400, fat around 52 and sugar under 30. This is the calculation with my doing moderate to intentse workouts to lose and not MAINTAIN weight. Good luck!

My first day
Hi and welcome - this is my fifth day and it is helping me a lot. This is my first time being able to track my food and exercise, because in the past I got bored with writing it all out and didnt keep it up. Good luck to you.
