I'm back. It's been a long time. School and Graduate school applications on top of working full time took over my life. I kept watching what I was eating and did well with that even over the holidays, but I wasn't able to get to the gym at all. I had been fluctuating between 128 and 130 which I thought was darn good considering no gym for about a month. Now for the past couple of weeks I've been back on my normal gym schedule, but discouragingly I've gone up to 132.4 (as the scale said this morning). According to my calculated WW points I should be around 19pts to keep losing. I have been using this point value for a long time and still have stayed the same between 128 and 130 or so (even before taking the break from the gym). so I don't really know what to do now. workout harder? (I'm doing 500 cals on the elliptical regularly, and weights (every other gym adventure) and core training everytime). I'm really tired of just staying the same weight. Maybe eat more protein? Trying really hard to stay good.

Hello all. Been MIA at least on the journal lately. Been super busy. These next few months are going to be crazy busy for me too. Work will be busy as usual, but then taking a biochemistry class mondays and wednesdays after work, working on applications for graduate schools, and studying to take the GRE again. Eeek. I basically won't have a life. This week I went to the gym and swam in the mornings 3 times. I plan to keep that up, (and morning workouts in general) as that's the only way with the night class that I'll be able to fit in my normal number of workouts during the week. So my plan right now is Monday am-swim; Tuesday pm-bellydance class; Wednesday am-swim, pm-elliptical/weights; Thursday am-swim, pm-elliptical weights; Friday am-swim, pm-elliptical weights. One of Friday's activities or other days can be made up on Saturday. Though I'm hoping that if all can be done during the week I can take Saturday and Sunday off from gym and hopefully do something else active at least one of the days. Though the weather has started to get crappy for fall. I like it for the fact that it's now back to cuddly sweater and sweatshirt season, but it does dampen (haha) what one can do outside....like bike, hike, canoing...just aren't as fun in the rain. Ahh joys of living in Seattle.--guess being able to do all those things all year would be a selling point of going to California for grad school...ah the things to consider....anwyay hope you all had a good week and enjoy the weekend!!
