What I've learned about nutrition, weight loss, exercise, etc:
-there's no magic bullet, nothing where you will continually lose/maintain your weight. No system, no program, no pills, nothing.
-it's simply burn more calories than you take in. Eat better, exercise, that's about it.
-exercise is king
-nutrition is queen
-lifting weights and building lean muscle is the best way to burn fat.
-Cardio burns calories and increases endurance, but must be mixed with weight training
-if man made it, you probably shouldn't eat it.
-if it's white, you probably shouldn't eat it. (dairy is the exception)
-get all the fiber you can
-drink all the water you can.
-low carb, while effective for a short while, is basically calorie restriction.
-calories through liquids are your number 1 enemy
-take your vitamins
-get moving. walk, clean the house, anything. you'll feel better.
-don't eat after 9am. drink water, go to bed, eat in the morning.
-get 8 hours sleep. it will help you eat better and workout.
