According to my phone, I walked 5.5 miles today! 2.3 was at a brisk pace, I know, but I was amazed at the amount my phone registered. Very pleased...BUT
Took DD to BK for dinner after her performance and looked up the Crispy Chicken, Jr. on the BK site...280 calories with no mayo. I thought GREAT! At the time I was still about 400 calories UNDER my daily goal. So I figured I'll get the Spicy version and a small order of fries. Well, the spicy version is made spicy by the addition of a SAUCE that adds 120 calories to the sandwich. If I had checked that ahead of time, I wouldn't have gotten the fries! I really didn't need them! So I'm kicking myself for a mid-week, unnecessary splurge. Almost feels like a wasted opportunity. I still spent more calories than I brought in, but am regretting the four hundred extra calories consumed...

Didn't exercise yesterday or Monday. Felt sick after dinner yesterday and went to be early on Monday. HOWEVER, got home today and decided to walk to pick up my son from school instead of driving. DD and I put on our walking shoes and walked there and DS's face was PRECIOUS when he found out we were walking home. So, walked a total of 1 hour at a 3 mph pace. Need better shoes, but DD says she's good doing it from now on and DS didn't complain too much.
