My son has his first Chess Tournament at 8:15 this morning, so I told him we would go to Golden Corral for breakfast. So I got up at 4 to get my 5 miles in, knowing that I was going to eat too much. My weakness? Banana Bread.

There is now a Duncan Donut Mocha Oreo. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
¤ Do not buy them
¤ Do not try them
¤ If you see them in the store, run the other way
They are pure EVIL. I know this ... I ate 10 of them tonight. They just kept jumping in my mouth. :-(

Finally made it back to the gym this morning. I have really been having low energy issues and not being able to get up at 4:30. Today, however, I drug my butt out of bed went to the kitchen and made me a workout energy booster: one scoop of protein shake mix and 4 tablespoons of sugar free double cappuccino mix. Followed that up with a B12 vitamin and an Adderall. Got five miles in before work ...I was un-fraking-stopable.
Then at 11:45 I crashed. Anyway, The scales haven't budged all month long, so I am looking for another drop any day now...

Hello friends!
Haven't been on in awhile, because life got in the way. (Heck, I haven't even been to the gym in 12 days.) Still hanging in there, however. Using the home treadmill a lot and doing a crap load of yard work ... like cutting down tree saplings and recovering parts of my property that I have allowed to become overgrown the last several years.
My wife then said something that kinda hurt, "The best part about you losing this weight is that you are no longer lazy around the house."
Had I been "lazy" around the house? When I began to think about it, I saw what she meant. The answer was not that I was lazy, per se, but not physically able to do things. After all, it is hard to do yard work in the Alabama heat when you were over 300lbs and ten minutes into any activity you are breathless and exhausted.
So anyway, I am reclaiming my over grown yard, fighting poison ivy and trying to get my kids to help ... which is a different post for another time. :-D
