The last 3 weeks have been a stressful nightmare and my eating habits/weight reflect that. But today we are back on track with exercise and eating right....eliminating ice cream (as of tomorrow)and adding walking into my daily routine. We will try this for 30 days and see what difference it makes. I am at challenge with my sister for this month, and hopefully the added incentive will help!

Well I just challenged my sister to a 30 day diet and workout challenge! We are starting with a 7 day cabbage soup diet...then a low carb/high protein diet. I am cutting out all peanut butter and chocolate..my two downfalls. I am cutting back to only 1 12 pack of diet sodas a week.
We are going to do 50 crunches, 20 squats and 15 minutes of vigorous freestyle dance with 7 days a week. 3 times a week we will walk briskly for 30 minutes. We will increase these numbers each week. Our goal is to be at 150 by Christmas! Sisters are by nature competitive...so this is stepping it up! Wish me luck!!!

I fell of the wagon so to speak...and with this being my last box of Nicorette gum....I suspect that I will be gaining another 5 pounds before all is said and done. But I have incorporated an exercise program in the mornings..in fact I set my alarm back 30 minutes so I now get up at 4:30 am in order to have time to exercise, and read my scriptures, and shower and watch the news, and not feel rushed doing it all...so..we shall see what the next few weeks holds for us.
