Today is a reset day - I haven't been as vigilant as I need to be, I've been slipping, and the scale confirms it. So, back to basics - 1200-1400 calories, track all food, walk 10,000 steps a day. Stay positive. I can do this.

My new goal - that seems to be working - is to eat between 1,200 and 1,400 calories a day and walk at least 10,000 steps a day. It's working right now because it's light out later in the day so I can walk after I get home from work. I have a feeling that I'll have modify somehow later in the year but for now it seems to be working. Of course
what
I eat also matters and I'm trying to stick to 'whole foods' (i.e. nothing too processed), veggies, lean meats, complex carbs, etc.

Took advantage of a beautiful evening and go out there to walk. I've discovered the power of taking lunch; I can control what I eat and I feel more in control. Getting sick of salad though, need to mix it up a bit.
