well having "seasonal" Asthma, Pneumonia, and Bronchitis..for the ast 4 yrs only in winter months they found it was our 5 yr old furnace...I was inhaling daily..low amounts of carbon monoxide from our furnace every winter, using my nebulizer 3 x a day right next to the floor register where the low amounts of carbon monoxide were coming up..detectors wont pick up low amounts..I saw a lung specialist yesterday, they have me a test to ck my breathing even though I still have Bronchitis, and didnt know they were doing testing that day..I can breathe in no wheezing even breathing out until she says blow hard out..and then it wheezes like crazy She says lets see what helps or what dont and she tried Symbicort but Anthem wont pay for it..so Im on the sister to Symbicort which is Breztri..2 puffs in the morn 2 in the evening..Hopefully I can get off it at some point If I was ok in the spring and summer except for allergic asthma I dont wanna keep taking it..so we will see..I realize it does have some steroid in it..but I refuse to take anymore steroid shots or pills..my weight has grown so much because of all that and not being able to breathe...I cry when I think about it being our furnace...all the meds I have tried and the visits to diff. drs...anyway so far the Breztri I started today seems to work but Istill have mucus from the brochitis but I can breathe..No onto losing weight! I have to..Im 5'2 now 221!!!!! ughhh feel awful look terrible! I will take prayers for strength!

I have not been on here in months...As I have written before that I have this ongoing "out of breathe" thing...Its been going on since last winter..seems to disappear when it gets warm They dont know what it is..Thought is was mild asthma like Ive always had, but I will be walking down the hall to the computer room and instantly not beable to breathe..well after TONS of steroids, antibiotics, worry, xrays...we found out the cause and when I heard this I knew Iwas right! I had been saying that the only time Im not sick is when I leave the house...but everyone said I was nuts..well our furnace was put in 4 yrs ago..lat yr it jst didnt seem to ever get up to the temp I would set it on..This winter about Nov. our furnace kept kicking on for 6 -10 min then off for 1-2 min then back on all night..We called the furnace guy to clean out burner but he said that was not it...so we changed our thermostat..and it continued to do it..this whole time for 2 seasons Im coughing up tons of mucus, everyday, using a nebulizer, and I was on Qvar, then the new inhailer called Airsupra..but nothing helped..I got Pneumonia in Dec. and Jan I got Bronchitis..Well I called the furnace guy back and had him take it apart..GUESS WHAT???? Our Heat Exchange Until,. the main part in any furnace, and multiple CRACKS in it, and it was releasing LOW LEVELS OF CARBON MONOXIDE INTO OUR HOUSE EVERY TIME THE FURNACE WOULD KICK ON!!!!! Prolly for the past 2 seasons and thats why my breathing issue seemed to be seasonal! I am here all the time as I dont drive due to a vision issue...so in the winter Im inside 24/7 unless we go out which isent all that often..I was being POISONED and yes I had Carbon Monoxide detectors BUT they do NOT pic up low levels of Carbon Monoxide! I had them remove the furnace and we got another one it comes tomorrow! Ive been freezing for a wk now but its been worth it! Have your furnace checked and serviced every year!!!!
