Just went to the library and picked up the south beach diet book - was wondering what most people use for dressing. I'm a ranch or creamy caesar girl, but that's too much fat for south beach right?

Well, after much soul searching and trying out sparkpeople, I have decided that I get much more support from fatsecret. Since all the gallbladder issues lately, have decided to try south beach. I did okay on the calorie counting, but found myself eating more and more sugar thinking, "well, it's within my calories". I could see me headed in a direction I did not want to go!!! So, hoping south beach will allow me to live carb free while at the same time taking care of the gallbladder issues that arose from eating too much fat on atkins. wish me luck :-)

I'm using the foodtracker on sparkpeople because it is so much easier to use, but fatsecret definitely has better communication with people on the same diet. I have tried and tried, but it is so stinkin' confusing! Sticking to 1120 calories a day, and doing low fat. Basically the biggest loser plan. Low fat!

I have loved the atkins diet, but with the gallbladder having issues I think it is time to make a change. All the fat is just not what my body can handle.
