I have been happily married for 12 years. Due to a foot injury, I was either laid up or in a walking boot for over a year. Due to my employment at the time I was only able to make it to 4 of my 18 P.T. apts. I then started a desk job so I have gained a lot of weight (gained 4 sizes).
To top it off, I injured my hips over 20 yrs ago which then affected my back and neck and since had 3 more back injuries. Even 5 extra lbs is hard on my hips/back/neck, so imagine 40, and I can't just go workout. (I have to be careful not to separate my pelvis anymore than it is.)
I want/need to lose the weight so my body feels better. I used to go dancing quite often until my last injury. I am still able to do some of the things I love like: shooting, fishing, camping, swimming, etc. I quit smoking a year ago now so I am hoping I will be able to breath better with the walking/elliptical I have started!
I refuse to live like this! I can use all the help anyone is willing to give, especially because the food I like, I LOVE!
