sugars up and down, doctors don't know why. Had a 3 day glucose monitor on that shows my sugars drop to 60/70s around 2am, then spike high at 7am, then level off during the day. I was put on Jardiance to see if that will level things. Now sugars higher then before, Keto no longer controlling them. I'm so tired of this. I don't know what to do anymore.

Glucose meter results still unavailable, apparently only one person can load the data and he/she was on leave. Crazy! Lost a little more, sugars doing a bit better. All in all, a decent week.

Today they took it all from me. Finished the 3 day glucose monitor and the only thing they see that is raising my sugars is my Keto baking. Doc said NO BAKING for the rest of the month (no Rebel icecream either) to see if my sugars level off. 😥😥 So, can't have real cookies and cake, found Keto alternatives I can live with and now I might not be able to have those anymore. Most of the diabetics I know don't struggle like I do (including my little brother- he's 56), they eat what they want and take a shot. I don't know what makes me do it, but I just don't want diabetes to win. Diabetes claimed my Dad when he was 62 and it's over 30 years and I still miss him today. I've been fighting my diabetes for 15 years. In that time I've lost over 100 lbs and went from 80 units of insulin shots a day to none. I've denied myself all kinds of alcohol and sweet treats during that time. I'm tired of fighting, I often think about giving in and just doing what everyone else seems to do. What's the point in all my struggles if I end up back on shots? I know I'm whining, but that's just how I feel today. Defeated.

A loss, is a loss, I'm happy. 😊 I'm doing a 3 day glucose test to see if there is something I can do better to control my sugars. They have been very erratic lately. After 15 years of being diabetic, my doctor offered me some "diabetic stretches", they work all major muscle groups and are supposed to help lower my sugars. How come no one else offered these during those 15 years?? My other doctors were really fast to offer meds, very happy with my new doctor. I like the alternatives she gives me.
