Have followed Induction quite well this week and I'm feeling better: more positive, encouraged, motivated, optimistic. And although I'm avoiding weighing myself (the scale has been so discouraging in the past) I can FEEL a positive difference in my body (especially around my middle) so I'm hanging in there. DH is being supportive, which is important since he does all the cooking. He's eating his carbs, but feeding me yummy low carb meals. I plan to make sure I have allowable "goodies" on hand for the following week and hope to make some low carb recipes myself this weekend. Reading Why We Get Fat and New Atkins for a New You helps. So does daily tracking on Fat Secret. The key is to not fall too far behind my actual meals. It's even more helpful to plan in advance and enter my meals beforehand.
