Okay, starting again today. I'm doing a modified South Beach Diet. I'll do the phase one but I'm not eliminating clementines or bananas. I'm hoping those won't hold me back too much. I just can't give them up. I hope to be 138 lbs by April 19 for Marco Island.

Okay, here I go yet again..... My pants are too tight and I refuse to go up a size. It's time to get serious and stop all the crazy eating. Most of it is mindless, stress eating. I admit there's not much going on in my life right now that excites me, hence the eating. It's got to stop! I knew I hit in the 150's and I hate those numbers. I refuse to let it get any higher. I want to go back to the 140's and would be super happy to get to 132. So, here goes.....

I thought I was ready last time, but I wasn't. I think that's why I actually went up in weight. I was too busy thinking about the "diet" thing. I was going to try South Beach, but I think I'm going to do a combo South Beach Weight Watcher diet. I'll stick mostly to the principles of the South Beach diet, but I'll allow myself 2 slices of weight watcher bread at lunch. Also, I don't want to give up fruit for 2 weeks during the clementine season. I love them. Today was day 1 and my mantra is "One decision at a time". Every time I have a meal, it's a decision to choose well or poorly. I look at it and say "if I can get through this one meal making a good meal decision" and then I take the next hurdle when it comes. It worked for the 3 meals I had today. Tomorrow is another story. "One meal, one decision at a time". Here I go............

Okay, I'm starting again. I've been overindulging in the halloween candy and it's taken its toll. My pants are too tight and it's very uncomfortable. Also, I don't want it to get out of control as I can see it's going that way.
So, here I go again. I'm trying not to think of it as a "diet", but just that I'll be making better choices. I went out to breakfast with Carol this morning and instead of having my usual cheese omelet with bacon inside, homefries and rye toast loaded with butter, I had a veggie omelet made with eggwhites and 1 slice of light cheese, no homefries or toast and a small slice of ham. It definitely was not as enjoyable as my usual, but it did the trick. I'm there for the socialization anyway so I'll get used to the new better choices. I'll feel good when my pants fit again. I refuse to go up a size!
