DIABETIC DIET
I also have type II diabetes. My doctor put me on the Atkins diet to help control my blood sugar. Before I started the diet, my blood sugar was averaging about 370. Now it is down to normal. I have lost a total of 23 pounds since I started the diet back in March. It has really helped me out a lot. You might try starting on a low carb plan and gradually increase your carbs until you find the point that works best for you.

Exercise ThroughOut the Day
I have one good trick to use while you are working on the computer. My doctor gave me the idea. I have a set of 2 pound hand weights and I sit and work with them when I am on here. I do ten reps with each arm after I do each post or check each email. It has been helping quite a bit.

Wii Fit
I have been seriously thinking about getting me a Wii and the Wii fit but I wasn't too sure if it would help or not. After reading your post, I may just have to give it a try. Thanks for the info.

I need a pep talk
I definitely need a pep talk. I am back to gaining rather than losing. I have a list of reasons I can blame but I know it is no ones fault but my own. I feel like I am never going to reach my goal. And my family won't back me in the least.
I went grocery shopping with my mother since she is staying with me for a while. She is here on vacation from the UK. She kept picking up and throwing into the cart all this food that is loaded with carbs. I told her I couldn't eat that stuff. She informed me that it wouldn't kill me to go off my diet and enjoy myself for a while. So now my house is full of junk food and I don't have squat to eat to keep me on my diet.
Ok, I have vented and still feel like a failure. Thanks for listening to me.
