Should I stop Atkins??!!!
hahah I live in Germany and if you tell a person here "everything's in butter"... it means that things are going super for you Very Happy

Mike you have reminded me of an awesome book - "Real Food" by Nina Planck. She takes an entire chapter out on every food group, including oils. Very well researched, explains cholesterol and why it's perhaps not such a good predictor of future heart disease (and which lab tests could be better predictors!). She even goes into the history of certain foods and their good/bad reputations. I read it once a year.

Don't read it on an empty stomach Wink

Should I stop Atkins??!!!
I tried it for a couple of months but couldn't stick with it. But it helped me to lose my taste for sweets, bread, pasta and other sources of basically empty calories.
Even if you find in the long run that Atkins isn't for you, I doubt there's a better way to wean yourself off of sugar and simple carbs Smile

What is a "cup" of salad?
Maybe instead of measuring in cups, try weighing it out before washing....

Working out, Eating right, and NO WEIGHT LOSS....
I also haven't seen the numbers move from the scale much. I downloaded an excel chart from the MS Office website where you enter your measurements and it calculates your body fat percentage and lean body mass. If I were only going by the scale, I'd have probably given up by now! But this chart has helped me to see that although I've lost only a few pounds, those pounds are allllll fat Very Happy
