I am a retired school teacher and a twin. Since menopause, I have put on 20 pounds. I weigh 162 at 5'7; however, I have a midriff I am fighting to get rid of. I go to the Y every morning and work out for 3-4 hours. I sometimes go back in the evenings for another hour. I work out for 30 minutes in their "curves" room, another 30 on the Spin bike, another 30 on the CFX. I then take 1 or two classes...back to back. The first year at the Y, I tore a rotator cuff and capsulated my shoulder. I also managed to get plantars fasciiatis from working out to much. I have NOT lost the weight I thought I would drop by so much working out. I basically eat a handful of Special K that has yogurt with lactose free milk, a oatmeal bar (100 cal) after the first 2 hours of working out at the Y, and Smart Meal Tuna and Noodles for lunch. I'll actually skip supper for my chocolate. I need to get off this horendous craving for chocolate I've had most of my adult life.
I'm married and have two grown sons. I teach piano in the evenings. I'm also a PFLAG mother.

Chocolate Cravings
I have been working out at the Y everyday since retirement (over 1 year) . Most days I work out 3-4 hours in the morning and another hour at night.(I do the 30 minute curves room 1st, then I do 30 min. of spin, another 20-30 on an EFX, then on to classes. I drag my butt home, eat Smart's Tuna Noodle...nibble on M&M's...back to the Y for another hour) It has cost me over $1000 in medical bills for a torn and capsulated shoulder, and I have treating plantars fasciiatus for a year. I have not lost this "python" around my waist! I do not eat meat, no colas, coffee, tea, milk, alcohol, or smoke. I eat very little; however, I know it is my HUGE craving for chocolate. I will skip meals to have M&M's. Help me....someone....to stop this craving I've had for years. Kytwin (Kentucky Twin) My twin also has the same problem....CHOCOLATE.
